Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation has again increased the price of petroleum products. Diesel, petrol and kerosene have been increased by Rs 3 per liter.
Stating that the price of fuel has increased in the international market, the corporation has increased the usual price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter. According to the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation, the price of fuel has gone up.
According to the new price, petrol will cost Rs 142 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs 125 in Kathmandu Valley. The price of petrol is still high. Earlier, it was Rs 140 per liter on March 12, 2010.
The corporation has stated that the price of crude oil in the international market has gone up to डलर 90 per barrel. The new price will be effective from 12 noon on Tuesday.
Similarly, the corporation has increased the price of domestic aviation fuel by Rs 10 per liter to Rs 116. International aviation fuel has been increased from US १०० 100 per kiloliter to US १० 1095.
The corporation has stated that the price of LP gas for cooking has remained the same.
