Sakela – A campaign is being conducted to make Sakela Rural Municipality a completely sanitation-friendly municipality. Under the leadership of the head of the rural municipality, Ravi Prakash Rai, various programs are being conducted at the ward and municipal level to make the rural municipality a clean, beautiful, and clean municipality.
Bam Prasad Tamang, a social worker resident of Sakela rural municipality-3 Khidima, has provided 20 acres of land to the rural municipality for free. According to Section 5 (2) of the Policy on Registration, Use and Lease of Government Lands, 2079, the said land was received free of charge from the landowner for the construction of a shooting site.
Similarly, the locals have also provided the land required for the motorable road leading to the shooting side which is about to be constructed, free of charge. Taraman Tamang, a resident of Sakela-3 Khidima, has provided the land required for the motorable road leading to “Shooting Side” free of charge to the Village Chairman Ravi Prakash Rai on Thursday.
It is said that the work of the shooting side will start soon after the land is acquired for the road leading to the shooting side. The garbage collected within the village will be taken to the shooting side and disposed of. The rural municipality is working by creating a separate procedure for waste management, and cleaning campaigns are being conducted in each ward. Within the next five years, the municipality has taken the goal of making Sakela Rural Municipality a completely sanitation-friendly municipality. Even in the periodical plan that is being built, the plan has been made by giving priority to the complete cleaning program.
Village Chairman Rai expressed his gratitude to the landowners who provided free land by fully supporting the cleanup campaign started by the Municipality. He mentioned that with everyone’s initiative and efforts, every area of the municipality will be developed, and it can be brought to the destination of prosperity. The municipality has said that the landowners who donated free land to the municipality and government offices under the municipality at different times will be honored during a special program.
