  • 6th presidential Running Shield victory of Shree Sakela secondary School.

    Sakela- Sakela Secondary School was entitled as Victory at the inter school 6th president Running shield which was held by the Sakela Rural Municipality. The competition was open to all five of the Sakela Area’s secondary schools. Likewise, with the leading points and holding 10 gold medals, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals the school was entitled as the winner of the running shield.

    On the other hand, with 9 gold medals, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals Radha krishna secondary school bajhey chyandada was able to take over the second position furthermore, shree Saraswati secondary school mattim birta was able to conquer the third position. Eventually siddheshwori secondary school khidima with 5 silver and 5 bronze medals occupied the fourth position whereas, the Balbalika secondary school was announced fifth position. The program held by the Municipal authority dated on 6th of February Tuesday till 10th of February saturday was organized by the Saraswati secondary school team. The head co-ordinator of sakela rural municipality Mr Kabiraj Rai stated, “The sports held for different categories were rewarded with the certificates including the medals and also the trophies”.

    “The hidden talents of Sakela in the field of sports will surely be admired additionally, the players will be prioritized and for the further recognition the government of Sakela will take measures for the nourishment of their true sportsmanship spirit,” says Mayor Mr. Rabi Prakash Rai, congratulating all the winners and participants. Together with the athletes in the municipality, Mr. Rai has stated unequivocally that Sakela will become internationally known if future athletes receive the right training for competitions at the highest levels of national and worldwide competition. Since he believes that today’s kids will make up tomorrow’s nation, he has placed a strong emphasis on prosperity and development for the next generation.

    “The betterment and prosperity of the municipality along with the nation is co-related to the sports, so she emphasized on the need to develop sports institutionally,” said Miss Brisika Rai. Mr. Jivan Khatri, the official spokesman for Sakela Rural Municipality, who was seated in place of the president, congratulated all the participating students at different school as well as Mr. Shivendra Kumar Rai, the head of the school, Mr. Samraj Rai the member of village education committee, and Mrs. Sharmila Katel, the executive member gave best wishes and commendation to the participants on being successful for the Presidential running shield.

    The principal of Saraswati Secondary School, Mrs. Shital Rai, reported that the competition’s events—kabaddi, high jump, long jump, triple jump, short foot, javelin throw, 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, 150-meter, 100-meter relay, and 400-meter relay—were significantly different and more numerous than in prior years. There were 23 events in total, with activities for both boys and girls. The one lakh conditional program money from the federal government and the ministry of sports was applied for the operation of the program; the municipality funded the remaining shortfall. The district level games, which have not yet been confirmed by the authorities, will feature the gold medal winners.
